"Learn and Work: The AI Challenge" at University of Economics Hue
We had an exciting event at the University of Economics Hue today, where our founder - Mr. Long Le - participated as a speaker at the university's auditorium. Mr. Long led an engaging discussion on a topic that’s on everyone’s mind: "Learn and Work: The AI Challenge"
The session was structured around four intriguing questions that got us all thinking deeply about the role of AI in our lives:
- Is AI good or bad?
- Is AI an opportunity or a challenge for individuals?
- Is AI an opportunity or a challenge for our community?
- Should we allow AI to make decisions for our communities? For example, should banks use AI to decide on loans, should courts use AI to determine guilt, and should AI decide what and how to teach students?
Students at University of Economics Hue participated enthusiastically, offering brilliant and diverse answers. It was amazing to see so many perspectives and insights being shared.
In a surprising twist at the end, Long Le left us with a statement about the fourth question. He said:
The 4th question, I think, is the hardest question because it's not really a question. It's a vote. Everyone of us will make a vote on whether we accept AI to play the role of decision-makers in our society. If we don't, laws will follow to ban such practices. And vice versa. The vote is the reality itself, not an analysis of the reality. Once the voting is done, whatever we decide collectively, that will be the reality we have to live with, together. Besides, I think that despite all the challenges brought on by AI, everything important remains the same. It is the journey to discover who we are, our talents, to build our resilience, grit, overcoming heartbreaks. We, the students here and us the older generations, are all on the same boat and going through the same journey: journey of a human life.
This discussion not only shed light on the complexities of AI but also reminded us of the enduring human journey we all share.
At the event, Mr. Long also officially announced an exclusive partnership between NSpace and ANI - A Premier English Language Training Institution in Hue to bring AI chatbots as an advanced AI learning tool for students.
